The Jcord-001 PTT Radio and ICS Adapter creates a connection between a handheld radio and an aircraft’s ICS without airframe modification via a U-92/A connector and a user’s civilian headset/helmet. With the Jcord-001, the user can transmit/receive to/from the handheld radio while all user transmissions and received audio from the handheld radio are routed to all ICS positions.
In addition to in-aircraft use, the Jcord-001 can be used independently with a civilian headset/helmet and the handheld radio for continued communications capabilities in high noise environments. If the civilian headset/helmet is unplugged from the Jcord-001, the Jcord-001 becomes a remote speaker microphone for continued handheld radio usage.
