The wiJAC2™ Wireless Aircraft System consists of two components which provide a wireless full-duplex audio link between the aircraft’s intercom system and the user’s headset. Adapter cables are available for different headset connector styles and aircraft connector styles. The JB61 plugs directly into the aircraft audio system and the JB60 connects to a standard aircraft headset and attaches to the user’s belt. Together the two separate components allow aircraft personnel free movement both inside and outside the aircraft. The headset adapter features only essential controls to ensure ease of operation. (VOX and Volume control knobs, and On/Off and PTT buttons)

The wiJAC2™ system offers the user independence from traditional tethered audio systems without sacrificing audio quality.

The wiJAC2™ system is designed to be compatible with most general (aviation-type) high impedance headsets.

In-line adapters for use with a low impedance military style audio system are available from Jupiter Avionics. A light on each unit indicates when the RF communication link is established, and a 2.1mm coaxial charging port is provided for connection to a USB charging source.

The base unit has a 10 pin HIROSE connector and the headset unit has a 6 pin LEMO connector. Adapter cables for NATO style aircraft connectors, charging cables and rechargeable batteries are included with each system.

Multiple paired adapters can be co-located in the same aircraft without interference. An encrypted radio link ensures secure communications. Alternative adapter cables are available for use with other connector styles.

The wiJAC2-001 system comprises a JB60-001 and a JB69-001 and is for use in North America.

The wiJAC2-002 system comprises a JB60-002 and a JB69-002 and is for European use.
