The JA71 Dzus Blanking Plate (spacer panel) allows the aircraft owner / operator to remove a piece of radio equipment from the cockpit Dzus rails and fill the void with a compatible sized cover plate. The matching design and color to existing control heads present a professional look and feel to the instrument panel for customers.
The JA71 is painted with a baked-on flat gray urethane finish to resist scratches and nicks. The rear side is milled out to accommodate switches or a printed circuit board. Testing to DO160 standards has been carried out on panel sizes ranging from 1 to 7 Dzus holes high.
Other Dzus hole sizes are available up to 30 Dzus hole high.
