Jupiter USB A Male to RS232 3.5MM Plug – CAB-USB-0006 (Rev B)

This cable can be used for configuring a number of Jupiter products through the Pro CS tool, including, but not limited to,  JA33-001, JA34-BT1 Bluetooth adaptors.

It connects directly between the Jupiter Configuration port to a computer’s USB port.

Jupiter USB A Male to RS232 3.5MM Plug

This cable can be used for configuring a number of Jupiter Products, including JA33-001, JA34-BT1 Bluetooth adaptors.

It is necessary to load the Product Configuration Software ProCS™ onto a Windows based computer as described in the ProCS™ manual.

JA99-001 Configuration cable can also be used for this process and is a main adapter cable with three connectors, intended to be used with a separate USB adapter cable, specifically the CAB-USB-0002 to connect to a PC's USB port. It is designed to offer configuration flexibility via both RS232 (serial) or USB interfaces, depending on the second cable used.

  • The CAB-USB-0006 is a standalone, single-piece cable that connects directly between a Jupiter Avionics product's configuration port and a computer's USB port.

Both cables achieve the same goal: connecting a computer running Jupiter Avionics' proprietary ProCS™ configuration software to the avionics unit's configuration port for downloading settings and aural messages.

The CAB-USB-0006  offers a more direct, single-cable USB solution, whereas the JA99-001  provides a more modular approach when paired with the appropriate second cable.
